Polite Society

Polite Society is a non-alcoholic spirits brand specializing in distilled dry spirits crafted to replicate the complexity and character of traditional alcoholic counterparts. Founded by a female entrepreneur, the company was established to address a gap in the market for high-quality, non-alcoholic alternatives made from real, natural ingredients and guided by genuine distilling craftsmanship. The brand's debut product is a dry rhum — a non-alcoholic distilled spirit inspired by the sugarcane-based Rhum Agricoles of the French Caribbean. This product is produced in small batches in Oaxaca, Mexico, honoring the agricultural and distilling heritage of the region. The dry rhum is crafted by a Master Distiller who works with 39 all-natural spices, herbs, and fruits, beginning with freshly pressed heirloom sugarcane juice combined with carefully selected botanicals. The resulting spirit delivers a spicy, sweet, and smoky flavor profile — grassy herbs, fresh sugarcane, and peppered earthiness — without any alcohol content. The product is positioned as a sophisticated, direct substitute for traditional rum in classic cocktails such as the Mai Tai, Dark & Stormy, and Rum Old Fashioned, as well as for sipping neat. Polite Society's dry rhum carries several notable product attributes: it is non-alcoholic, gluten-free, contains no artificial additives, and is made entirely from all-natural ingredients. The brand places emphasis on small-batch production methods, with over a year of recipe development invested before the initial release. Target consumers include those seeking mindful drinking experiences without sacrificing complexity, flavor depth, or the ritual of cocktail culture. The product retails at $44.00 per bottle and is available directly through the brand's website. Polite Society sits within the rapidly expanding non-alcoholic and low-ABV beverage segment of the CPG market, appealing to health-conscious consumers, sober-curious individuals, and cocktail enthusiasts who prioritize ingredient quality and artisanal production. The brand's philosophy centers on the idea that true indulgence is about presence and pleasure rather than excess, positioning its products as an everyday celebration rather than a compromise.
