Lost Grove Brewing

Lost Grove Brewing is a craft brewery and restaurant concept founded in 2017 and headquartered in Boise, Idaho. Established by Jake Black, a hospitality industry veteran who began his career at age 15, the company was built around a mission that extends beyond beer — prioritizing employee wellbeing, environmental responsibility, and active community engagement. The brewery operates two physical locations: its original La Pointe location and a second Hyde Park location opened in 2023, both offering dine-in, takeout, private event space, and catering services.

On the brewing side, Lost Grove produces a range of craft beers brewed with locally sourced ingredients and a focus on waste reduction. The brewery has achieved ClimateHound-certified carbon neutral producer status, meaning it actively measures, offsets, and reduces its carbon footprint as part of a formal environmental commitment. This positions it among a small tier of craft breweries that have pursued third-party environmental certification.

Beyond brewing, the company operates a full food program that has received strong local recognition, including pizza, salads, and sandwiches. It also runs Lost Window, a breakfast burrito concept that extends the brand's community presence. Catering and private event services are available for corporate and personal occasions throughout the Boise metro area and surrounding region.

Lost Grove is a certified B Corporation, reflecting its commitment to meeting rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. Through its Powerful Pints program, the brewery partners with four nonprofits annually — rotating featured organizations across both locations every three months — raising awareness and funds through events and community activations. This program underscores the company's dual identity as both a craft beverage producer and a community-centered hospitality business.

While Lost Grove Brewing is primarily a brewpub and hospitality operator rather than a wholesale manufacturer or co-packer, it represents a notable example of a vertically integrated craft brewery with strong regional brand equity, certified sustainability credentials, and a multi-concept food and beverage portfolio.
