Lago Vista Brewing Company

Lago Vista Brewing Company is a craft brewery located on the North Shore of Lake Travis in the Texas Hill Country, founded by Mark, Samantha, Dylan, and Cheyenne. The brewery was born out of a shared passion for craft beer that began when co-founders Mark and Dylan met at Texas A&M University. After years of homebrewing, professional brewing experience at multiple established breweries, and award-winning recipes, Mark transitioned to brewing full time before the team collectively committed to building their own establishment. The company officially secured land for the brewery in April 2020 and persevered through the considerable challenges of building during the COVID-19 pandemic, including supply shortages, rising interest rates, and logistical obstacles spanning multiple continents. The brewery draws inspiration from the European biergarten tradition, specifically the German concept of Gemütlichkeit — a sense of warmth, belonging, and communal gathering — and seeks to recreate that atmosphere for the local community and visitors to the Lake Travis area. Lago Vista Brewing Company operates as both a production brewery and a community gathering space, offering a taproom and outdoor biergarten-style setting. The venue hosts weekly events including Monday trivia nights, Wednesday music bingo, and a Saturday farmer's market, positioning it as a central hub for community engagement. The head brewer brings professional credentials earned at multiple Texas breweries along with a track record of competition awards, reflecting a commitment to quality craft beer production. The brewery's identity is rooted in Hill Country culture, community connection, and an unwavering dedication to the craft of brewing.
