Horizon Retailers Association

Horizon Retailers Association (HRA) is a membership-based trade organization serving convenience store retailers and vendor partners across the Southeastern United States. Founded in 2012 by Chirag, Nirav, and Amit to serve Georgia retailers, the organization has grown significantly over the past decade, expanding its reach to seven states including Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and Florida. HRA now represents more than 6,000 member retailers and maintains relationships with over 40 exclusive vendor and brand partners, providing access to a catalog of 10,000+ products. The organization functions as an advocacy and resource hub for independent convenience store owners, negotiating better pricing, improving profit margins, and connecting retailers with trusted suppliers. HRA offers flexible membership programs tailored to the unique operational needs of individual store owners, along with 24/7 dedicated support to ensure members have continuous access to guidance and resources. For vendor partners, HRA provides brand equity opportunities and a direct channel to thousands of active retail buyers across the Southeast. The organization also operates the HRA Foundation, a philanthropic arm focused on community revitalization and charitable giving, including an annual scholarship program, charity golf tournament, and community events such as a 5K walk/run. HRA hosts an annual C-Store Connect Tradeshow, bringing together industry leaders, product suppliers, and retailers to network and explore new business opportunities. Since its founding, HRA has achieved consistent growth milestones, reaching 700 member stores by 2015 and surpassing 1,000 members by 2016, reflecting strong demand for its cooperative model within the independent convenience store channel.
