Hübris is a 100% Hungarian-owned craft beer brand founded in 2015 by a master brewer who continues to lead the company today. Based in Székesfehérvár, Hungary, the brewery realized a major milestone in 2018 with the construction of one of the country's most modern small-scale brewing facilities. The automated brewhouse features a 2,000-liter brewing system and 40,000 liters of fermentation capacity, with active commercial production launched in spring 2019 following an initial test-brewing phase. The facility is located near the city center, making it accessible for brewery visits and tours by appointment. Hübris produces 12 distinct beer varieties with a focus on quality over quantity, operating under the conviction that craft-level brewing standards can be achieved and maintained even at industrial scale. The brand's core philosophy centers on clarity, simplicity, approachability, and style — positioning itself as a producer of everyday craft beer that appeals to a broad audience without sacrificing quality. The beer portfolio spans a wide range of styles, including IPA, Session IPA, Cold IPA, Light Lager, Pilsner, Sour Cherry Beer, Raspberry Sour, Belgian Wheat, Radler, and Stout. Rather than chasing novelty for its own sake, Hübris draws on classic brewing traditions and reinterprets them through a contemporary lens. The brand describes itself as 'the new classic,' aiming to shift public perception around quality beer and cultivate widespread demand for well-crafted brews. In addition to its brewing operations, Hübris runs the Hübris Language School — an educational content initiative designed to help consumers learn about and engage with the brand's beer portfolio. The brewery also offers guided visits to its facility, allowing consumers and trade partners to experience the production environment firsthand.
