HACIEN is a UK-based premium tequila brand producing flavoured and traditional tequila expressions crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave, distilled and bottled in Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico. Founded by co-founders Seb Francis and Jordan Myers, the brand was established with a mission to disrupt the tequila category by pioneering innovative flavoured expressions while honouring deep-rooted Mexican distilling traditions. HACIEN takes its name from the legendary haciendas of Jalisco, paying homage to the agricultural heritage of the region where blue agave has been cultivated for generations.

The core product range includes three primary varieties: a Tequila Blanco, a Pineapple Tequila Blanco, and an Añejo Cristalino. Beyond these flagship expressions, the brand offers a suite of infused Blanco variants including Lemon & Lime, Summer Berries (strawberry, raspberry, and orange blossom), and Coffee Tequila Blanco. All products are bottled at 38% ABV in 700ml format and maintain their 100% Blue Weber agave status despite the infused flavourings, achieved through the use of natural flavourings and agave syrup.

The production process reflects traditional Mexican craftsmanship. The agave piña hearts are slow steam-roasted for 36 to 54 hours in centuries-old thick stone-walled brick hornos, each capable of processing 40 tons of agave. This method preserves the natural sweetness of the agave, prevents caramelisation, and converts carbohydrates into fermentable sugars, resulting in a smooth, subtly sweet spirit.

HACIEN targets the UK on-trade and off-trade markets, with distribution through premium hospitality venues including Dakota Hotels, Tattu, Chaophraya Restaurants, and the Amber Lounge in Monaco, as well as retail partners such as Harvey Nichols, Master of Malt, and Amazon. The brand positions itself as an accessible yet authentic premium tequila experience, appealing to both casual consumers and discerning spirits enthusiasts. The commercial team includes business development managers and a mixologist focused on cocktail innovation and partner training within the hospitality sector.

The company is currently crowdfunding to support its growth trajectory, offering equity stakes to early investors. With a growing team including a commercial director, head of marketing, and drinks consultant, HACIEN is actively expanding its presence in the UK market and building its identity as a pioneer of the flavoured tequila movement.
