Belly Dance is a UK-based functional beverage brand producing water kefir drinks designed for health-conscious consumers seeking gut-friendly alternatives to conventional soft drinks. Founded by Hannah and Harriet, two yoga teachers who met in Hackney, London, the brand was built on a philosophy of combining fun with functional nutrition. Their flagship product line consists of softly sparkling, fermented water kefir drinks that deliver billions of live cultures per serving while maintaining a low sugar, low calorie profile.

All Belly Dance products are crafted without artificial sweeteners, preservatives, or caffeine, and are fully vegan-certified. The drinks are made in the UK, reflecting a commitment to domestic production. The water kefir fermentation process is central to the brand's identity, positioning Belly Dance within the growing functional fermented beverages category alongside kombucha and other probiotic drinks.

Current product offerings include flavors such as Cherry Berry Water Kefir, sold in multipacks directly to consumers, suggesting a direct-to-consumer retail model. The brand targets wellness-oriented individuals, yoga enthusiasts, and consumers looking for gut health support through dietary beverages. Belly Dance differentiates itself through its clean-label formulation — no nasties, no sweeteners, no preservatives — and its approachable, personality-driven brand voice that appeals to younger, health-aware demographics. As a small-batch, founder-led brand made in the UK, Belly Dance represents the artisan end of the functional beverage market with strong potential for retail and subscription channel growth.
