Dr. Bee

Dr. Bee is one of Canada's leading producers of premium honey bee products, founded by Dr. Ron Lin (PhD in Bee Science, Simon Fraser University) over 30 years ago. What started as a small family-run honey bee farm with 16 hives has grown into an industry-leading 173-acre operation with thousands of hives. The company specializes in producing 100% pure, all-natural honey bee products including their internationally acclaimed Ice Honey, which has won gold awards at the London Honey Quality Awards three times and earned recognition at the 2019 International Apicultural Congress Apimondia. Dr. Bee's product portfolio includes raw honey collections (gourmet, superfood, and specialty varieties), wellness products (bee propolis, bee pollen, royal jelly), and skin & body care items. The company applies scientifically grounded beekeeping techniques and production methods, with all products lab-tested to meet and exceed Canadian Food Inspection Agency standards. Dr. Bee serves health-conscious consumers, wellness enthusiasts, and retail partners including Whole Foods Market in British Columbia. In 2008, Agriculture Canada invited Dr. Bee to participate in an international trade mission showcasing Canada's finest agricultural products. The company is committed to sustainability, strictly condemning pesticides and herbicides harmful to bees, and has joined 1% for the Planet, dedicating 1% of annual sales to environmental protection. Dr. Bee operates both direct-to-consumer online sales and retail distribution across Canada, with products available in numerous stores throughout British Columbia and beyond.
