Originally established as part of the Latin American Gastropub, Darwin’s on 4th, the company expanded into a fifteen-barrel production facility and taproom in Bradenton, Florida, in 2013. After a series of ownership changes, the brand was reacquired in 2023 by its original founder, Chef Darwin Santa Maria, an award-winning chef known for his innovative approach to cooking and brewing.\n\nUnder Chef Darwin’s leadership, the company is undergoing a revitalization, with plans to open a new facility in Sarasota by late 2024. This facility will feature a full-service restaurant, brewery, distillery, soccer fields, and a live music stage.
