Colio Estate Wines is a Canadian winery located in Harrow, Ontario, situated in the heart of the Essex/Pelee Island Coast Wine Country along the shores of Lake Erie. Founded in 1980 by three Italian bricklayers — Alfredo, Enzo, and Tiberio — the winery holds the distinction of being one of the first licensed wineries in Southwestern Ontario following prohibition, making it a pioneering institution in the Canadian wine industry. The company's origins trace back to the founders' vision of building a world-class winery, drawing on winemaking expertise imported from Udine, Italy to establish their craft in the Lake Erie North Shore appellation, recognized as the southernmost and warmest wine region in Ontario.

Colio Estate Wines produces a broad portfolio of both white and red varietals, with a particular reputation for expressive and refreshing white wines alongside a well-regarded lineup of red wines. Winemaking operations are led by Allison Christ, who holds an Honours BSc. in Chemistry and Mathematics from the University of Windsor and brings hands-on experience from both small and large winery environments. Her focus spans the full production cycle, including harvest management, fermentation, blending, and bottling, ensuring that each vintage reflects both scientific rigor and artisanal attention to detail.

The winery's facilities are housed in a picturesque estate setting in Harrow, Ontario, and the brand maintains direct consumer engagement through newsletters, events, and recipe content.
