Bay 13 Brewery and Kitchen is an independently owned craft brewery and brewpub located in Coral Gables, Florida, within the greater Miami area. Founded by two former accountants with a passion for Melbournian hospitality, the concept draws inspiration from Australia's vibrant café and brewing culture, aiming to bring a distinctive Southern Hemisphere perspective to the South Florida craft beer market. The brewpub operates with a strong focus on quality across three pillars: freshly brewed craft beer, a thoughtfully curated food menu, and professional, friendly service in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Bay 13 features an ever-rotating beer menu that showcases a wide variety of global beer styles, with particular emphasis on Southern Hemisphere-style offerings. The brewing program is led by Head Brewer Greg Berbusse, who underwent an intensive brewery tour of Sydney, Canberra, and Melbourne prior to launching the initial tap lineup. The brewery opened its doors in December 2019 and quickly garnered positive local reception for its approachable, flavor-forward beer selections. In addition to its core brewing and dining operations, Bay 13 hosts live music events, private parties, and community gatherings, positioning itself as a community hub in Coral Gables. The founding team has deep roots in the local hospitality scene, with co-founder Nick previously launching Threefold Café on Giralda Avenue and operating multiple locations across Miami-Dade County.
