Atomic is a supply chain planning software platform designed for companies that make, buy, move, or sell physical goods, including consumer brands, manufacturers, retailers, grocers, and dark stores. The platform holds a unit-level simulation model of a business down to the SKU, site, supplier, and week, encoding the rules and constraints that planning teams operate by and continuously rerunning the full plan to generate actionable decisions around purchasing, production scheduling, and inventory positioning. Unlike rigid legacy planning systems or spreadsheets, Atomic's composable architecture is tailored to each customer's specific planning logic, terminology, and organizational structure, and can be updated as the business evolves without requiring full reimplementation. The platform integrates with existing ERP systems including NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics, and Oracle, as well as WMS and 3PL systems, sales channels, and forecasting tools. It does not replace the ERP as the system of record but sits on top of it, feeding back purchase orders, production plans, and replenishment decisions for execution. Atomic also operates alongside existing planning suites such as Kinaxis, o9, SAP IBP, and Relex when customers choose to retain them. Key capabilities include production planning by SKU, line, plant, and co-manufacturer against demand, bills of materials, run constraints, yields, MOQs, and capacity; inventory allocation and replenishment across distribution centers, 3PLs, stores, and channels; and purchase order generation against supplier lead times, minimums, and cost structures. An AI interface called Nucleus provides natural-language explainability for every recommendation, tracing each number to the unit-level model and the rule that produced it, ensuring full auditability. Planners remain in control: routine decisions execute automatically on defined rules while exceptions are surfaced for human review and approval, with every override logged. Customer-reported outcomes include inventory reductions of 20% or more, in-stock rates above 99%, and planning time savings of 75%.
