Alexander Beer (Mivshelet Alexander) is an Israeli craft brewery founded on August 20, 2008, located in the Hefer Valley (Emek Hefer) near the Alexander River in central Israel. Established with a clear mission to produce premium Israeli craft beer, the brewery draws inspiration from the finest boutique breweries in Europe and the United States, adhering to traditional European brewing standards and knowledge. A defining characteristic of Alexander Beer is its commitment to producing unfiltered and unpasteurized beer, allowing the product to remain 'alive' in the bottle or keg, preserving freshness, rich flavor, and aroma until consumption.

The brewery was founded by Uri Sagi, a former Israeli Air Force pilot with over 25 years of passion for beer, during which he traveled the world studying and experiencing quality beer. In 2008, Sagi formalized his expertise by completing a brewing technology certification program at the Siebel Institute of Technology. He was joined by three partners: Aviam Sela, also a former Air Force pilot and single malt whisky connoisseur; and Yoram and Ari Yarzin, seasoned restaurateurs with a reputation for quality. Today, the brewery employs approximately 41 staff members across production, packaging, and administration.

Alexander Beer uses only the highest quality raw materials, including malt, hops, and yeast sourced from Europe, combined with Israeli water treated through reverse osmosis for maximum purity. The brewing process is deliberately longer than industry norms, enabling full quality control and superior taste development. The brewery operates on a small-batch craft philosophy, emphasizing precision and consistency through modern equipment.

The facility is located within the Hefer Valley Industrial Park, with an emphasis on modern, green industrial practices. Core brewing equipment — the brewhouse — was imported from German manufacturer Braukon, fermentation tanks were custom-manufactured in Israel by Maget according to the brewery's specifications, the bottling machine was imported from German firm Markl, and the labeling machine was sourced from German company Gernep. Every component of the facility was carefully planned to ensure uncompromising quality in every bottle.

Beyond production, Alexander Beer operates a visitor center open Sunday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Every Friday, the brewery offers guided tours at 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM, during which visitors learn about raw materials, the production process, and enjoy tastings of six beer varieties on draft. The visitor center also hosts corporate and private events, including tours, meals, and gift experiences. Alexander Beer's products are available for direct purchase, and the brewery offers delivery services throughout Israel.
